Privacy Notice for users of X DataNet Web Sites
X DataNet S.r.l. (from now on, "The Controller" or "X DataNet") explains on this page how it processes the personal data of users who visit its websites.
This Privacy Notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, the “GDPR”) and the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 101/2018 and subsequent amendments).

1. Data Controller
The Data Controller is X DataNet S.r.l. (hereinafter, the “Controller” or “X DataNet”), with registered office at Via Punta 13/15, Mirandola (Modena, Italy).
You may contact the Controller by sending an email to privacy@xdatanet.com, a certified email (PEC) to amministrazione@pec.xdatanet.com, or by registered mail to the above-mentioned address.
X DataNet has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who may be contacted at dpo@xdatanet.com.
2. Personal Data Processed and Purposes of Processing
The Controller processes personal data (identification data such as first name, last name, email address, telephone number, company name, any additional data entered in the contact form, or data contained in the CV in the case of applications submitted through our website) for the following purposes:
a) To respond to requests voluntarily submitted by users via the contact forms available on the website; the provision of such data is necessary in order to handle the requests received (demo booking, information requests, etc.), and the legal basis for the processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject;
b) Only with the user’s explicit consent, to send commercial communications via email or telephone concerning the Controller’s services and products; the provision of such data is optional, and the legal basis is the consent given by the data subject, where applicable;
c) To assess the application and CV voluntarily submitted by the user through the form available on the website; the provision of such data is necessary for the performance of a contract or a potential contract entered into with the candidate, and the legal basis for the processing is the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject.
3. How We Process Your Data
Personal data are processed in paper form and/or with the aid of electronic tools, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency, and will not be subject to any automated decision-making process, including profiling.
4. Who Processes Your Data
Personal data will be processed by duly authorised company personnel for the purposes indicated above, as well as by any third parties duly instructed, acting as Data Processors, to carry out processing activities on behalf of the Controller.
Personal data may be disclosed, within the limits strictly necessary, to competent authorities in the event of obligations related to applicable laws, as well as to parties entitled to access such data pursuant to laws, regulations or EU legislation, such as public authorities. In any case, personal data will not be subject to dissemination.
Should personal data be transferred outside the territory of the European Union, such transfer shall take place exclusively in compliance with the conditions and safeguards provided for by the applicable data protection laws and, in particular, on the basis of an adequacy decision or through the execution of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
5. Data Retention Period
Personal data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes indicated above. Upon expiry of such period, the data will be permanently deleted or otherwise rendered irreversibly anonymous.
6. Data Subject Rights
Users have the right to request, at any time, access to their personal data, as well as rectification, updating or erasure thereof, restriction of processing or objection to processing, where applicable, and data portability to another Data Controller.
These rights, including the right to withdraw consent at any time, may be exercised by contacting the Controller using the contact details indicated in Section 1 above. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if they believe that their personal data have been processed in violation of applicable data protection laws.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small text strings that websites visited by users (“first-party cookies”) or websites or web servers other than the one visited (“third-party cookies”) place and store on the user’s device, in order to provide information on the user’s use of the website and, in some cases, to transmit such information back to the same websites upon subsequent visits.
This website uses technical cookies, which are essential for the proper functioning of the website and to allow users to access the requested content and services. These cookies are strictly necessary, as without them it would not be possible to use the website, and therefore they do not require the user’s consent. It is not possible to disable this type of cookie, as doing so would compromise the proper functioning of the website. If users do not wish such cookies to be installed on their device, they are advised not to use the website.
In addition, this website uses analytical cookies in order to generate aggregated statistics on users’ browsing behaviour on the website, by masking the IP address and without cross-referencing the collected data with other processing activities or services that could allow the identification of the user.
