The EU Whistleblower Protection Directive was implemented to establish ad hoc procedures for managing whistleblowing procedures, including reporting to avoid sanctions. WHISTLETECH proved to be the right solution at the right time for many companies.

The management of the report is always done within the platform, with encrypted data. The reporter fills out an online questionnaire and the system generates a unique code, with which to access and check the progress of the investigation. The managers identified by the organization (SB, Legal, External Consultants) proceed with the verifications and use WHISTLETECH to give feedback.
WHISTLETECH was created to handle whistleblowing-related reports. In November 2019, Directive (EU) 2019/1937 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union, which was implemented in Italy by Legislative Decree No. 24 of March 10, 2023. The standard states, "reports shall be made in writing, including by computer, or orally." La piattaforma assicura la piena conformità alle normative applicabili in materia di whistleblowing, sia a livello italiano che europeo, e permette di utilizzare varie funzionalità.
WHISTLETECH permette di ottenere un accesso semplice ed immediato alla piattaforma online per inserimento della segnalazione. La piattaforma è utilizzabile online con qualsiasi dispositivo, anche mobile, e qualunque web browser. Per garantire la riservatezza del segnalante, il sistema genera un codice unico a 16 cifre associato alla segnalazione che prevede anche la possibilità di successivo utilizzo dello stesso da parte del segnalante per dialogare con l’organizzazione. La compilazione dei campi è effettuata con una procedura guidata, con facili step. Il software prevede anche la possibilità di prevedere un custode, che ha un ruolo di garanzia ad ulteriore tutela dell’identità del whistleblower.
